22-year old small forward Jimmy Butler is buried on the Bulls’ depth chart right now.  He has played in 32 games (0 starts) for the Bulls so far this year and he is averaging 8.6 minutes, 2.7 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game.  Butler has looked good in his limited minutes on the floor for the Bulls so far this year, but he’s only getting crumbs from the table.  Butler has shown enough to secure his spot on the Bulls’ roster for the future.

The Bulls outscored the Pistons 18-10 in the 4th quarter last night to put them away.  The Bulls outrebounded the Pistons 53-37 and they held them to 36.9% shooting from the floor, which helped them win.  Luol Deng (20 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots) and Joakim Noah (19 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots) led the way for the Bulls last night.  Carlos Boozer (13 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists) and C.J. Watson (11 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot) also pitched in for the Bulls last night.  The Bulls are now 42-11 on the year.

Chicago Bulls 98, Atlanta Hawks 77

The Bulls outrebounded the Hawks 45-36 last night and it helped them thrash them on the road.  Luol Deng (22 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot) and Carlos Boozer (20 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal) led the way for the Bulls last night.  Taj Gibson also had a rock solid game with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot last night.  Joakim Noah and John Lucas pitched in with 10 points apiece in this game.  The Bulls are now 41-11 on the year.

Denver Nuggets 108, Chicago Bulls 91

The Bulls were outrebounded 45-32 and they didn’t play much D as the Nuggets shot 50% from the floor last night.  C.J. Watson led the way for the Bulls last night with 17 points, 1 rebound, 8 assists and 1 steal.  Carlos Boozer, Kyle Korver and John Lucas pitched in with 14 points apiece in this game.  The Bulls are now 40-11 on the year.

The Bulls only shot 39.8% from the floor and they were outrebounded 59-44 last night, but it didn’t matter much when Luol Deng hit the game winning shot as time expired.  Carlos Boozer (24 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals) and Luol Deng (23 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot) led the way for the Bulls last night.  C.J. Watson also had a solid game with 23 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot last night.  Omer Asik pitched in with 10 points, 7 rebounds, 1 steal and 3 blocked shots in this game.  The Bulls are now 40-10 on the year.

The Bulls outscored the Raptors 32-13 in the 4th quarter to surge to a nice road win last night.  Luol Deng (17 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots) and C.J. Watson (15 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists) led the way for the Bulls last night.  John Lucas also had a solid game with 13 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists last night.  Ronnie Brewer (12 points) and Kyle Korver (10 points) also pitched in for the Bulls last night.  The Bulls are now 39-10 on the year.

The Chicago Bulls have been getting outstanding production at power forward this year

30-year old Carlos Boozer and 26-year old Taj Gibson combine to give the Bulls outstanding production at power forward.  Boozer has played in 48 games (all starts) for the Bulls so far this year and he is averaging 29.7 minutes, 15.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 steal per game.  Gibson has played in 45 games (0 starts) for the Bulls so far this year and he is averaging 19.3 minutes, 7.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 0.7 assists and 1.2 blocked shots per game.  The Bulls hope that both Boozer and Gibson can stay healthy the rest of the year as they have an advantage at power forward on most nights that they play.

The Bulls outrebounded the Magic 48-38 and they held them to 35.3% shooting from the floor as they shut them down in a vice grip last night.  Carlos Boozer led the way for the Bulls last night with 24 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals.  John Lucas also had a rock solid game with 20 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists and 1 steal.  Luol Deng filled up the stat sheet with 14 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot.  The Bulls are now 38-10 on the year.

Watson only shot 4 of 12 from the floor but he still finished up with 10 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists last night.  The Bulls are now 36-10 on the year.
