The Bulls shot 53.1% from the floor and they outrebounded the T-Wolves 47-30, which explains how they beat the Timberwolves on the road last night.  Derrick Rose (31 points, 3 rebounds, 11 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shots) led the way for the Bulls last night.  Luol Deng (21 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 blocked shot) and Ronnie Brewer (17 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal) also had big games for the Bulls last night.  Kyle Korver pitched in with 13 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shots in 24 minutes also helped out big time off the bench for the Bulls last night.  The Bulls are now 9-2 on the year.

Chicago Bulls 92, Detroit Pistons 68

The Bulls held the Pistons to 39.4% shooting from the floor tonight and they held the Pistons to 9 points in the 4th quarter which helps explain the blowout win.  Carlos Boozer led the way for the Bulls tonight with 23 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 blocked shot.  Derrick Rose also had a good game with 22 points, 1 rebound and 8 assists in this game.  Ronnie Brewer pitched in with 12 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists in this game.  The Bulls are now 8-2 on the year.

Atlanta Hawks 109, Chicago Bulls 94

The Bulls were down 85-62 after the first three quarters last night, as they never had much of a chance to win this game.  The Bulls outrebounded the Hawks 43-31 in this game, but they didn’t play any D as the Hawks shot 56.6% from the floor and that doomed them.  John Lucas (16 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists and 1 steal in 20 minutes on the floor) and Kyle Korver (13 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals) led the way for the Bulls in this game.  Carlos Boozer (12 points and 5 rebounds), Jimmy Butler (12 points and 3 rebounds in 12 minutes) and Taj Gibson (11 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots) also pitched in for the Bulls in this game.  The Bulls are now 7-2 on the season.

30-year old power forward Carlos Boozer is off to a really solid start this year for the Bulls.  He has played in 8 games (all starts) for the Bulls so far this year and he is averaging 30.3 minutes, 14.3 points, 8.8 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.3 steals per game so far this year.  Boozer is also shooting 51.5% from the floor as he has really worked on his jumper.  I look for Boozer to bring his scoring average up in the near future.  The Bulls need Boozer to stay healthy this year as he gives the Bulls a solid all-around player in the frontcourt.

Chicago Bulls 97, Orlando Magic 83

The Bulls outrebounded the Magic 46-37 tonight and it was a huge factor in their very impressive road win.  The offense was pretty well balanced out for the Bulls in this game.  Luol Deng (21 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal) and Derrick Rose (21 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot) led the way for the Bulls tonight.  Carlos Boozer was a beast around the basket for the Bulls tonight as he finished up with 20 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 blocked shot.  Kyle Korver was electric off the bench tonight with 18 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals in 31 minutes on the floor.  The Bulls are now 7-1 on the year.

The Bulls shot 52.6% from the floor tonight and they were up 51-35 at the half and never looked back.  Carlos Boozer (19 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals) and Derrick Rose (17 points, 2 rebounds, 10 assists and 2 steals) led the way for the Bulls in this game.  Richard Hamilton got back in on the action as he finished up with 14 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists.  Joakim Noah (13 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocked shots) and Taj Gibson (12 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocked shots) also pitched in for the Bulls tonight.  The Bulls are now 6-1 on the year.

Chicago Bulls 76, Atlanta Hawks 74

The Bulls only shot 33.8% from the floor last night and they were down 14 points at the start of the fourth quarter.  Then they exploded in the 4th quarter, outscoring the Hawks 34-18 to snatch a win from the jaws of defeat.  The Bulls did play great defense throughout the game yesterday as they held the Hawks to 35% shooting from the floor.  Derrick Rose led the way for the Bulls last night despite only shooting 8 of 22 from the floor, but, he still had 30 points, 1 rebound, 7 assists and 1 blocked shot.  Luol Deng had another outstanding game as he filled up the stat sheet with 21 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot.  Carlos Boozer pitched in with 11 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot.  The Bulls are now 5-1 on the year.

The Bulls outrebounded the Grizzlies 55-40 last night and they held them to 31% shooting from the floor which explains the final score.  Carlos Boozer (17 points, 11 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot) and Ronnie Brewer (17 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals) led the way for the Bulls in this game.  Derrick Rose (16 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots) and Luol Deng (11 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocked shots) also pitched in for the Bulls.  The Bulls are now are now 4-1 on the year.

The Bulls shot 50% from the floor and they also outrebounded the Clippers 45-31 in this game, which are big reasons for the nice road win.  Derrick Rose led the way for the Bulls last night with 29 points, 8 rebounds, 16 assists and 1 steal.  Luol Deng (19 points, 8 rebound and 2 assists) and Joakim Noah (19 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot) also had solid games for the Bulls last night.  Richard Hamilton (16 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists) and Carlos Boozer (10 points, 6 rebounds and 1 assist) also pitched in for the Bulls in this game.  The Bulls are now 3-1 on the year.

26-year old small forward Luol Deng is off to a good start for the Bulls so far this year.  Deng has played in 3 games (all starts) for the Bulls so far this year and he is averaging 40.0 minutes, 18.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.o blocked shot per game.  Deng is really filling up the stat sheet so far this year and he is the Bulls’ leading scorer as of right now.  He is a great team player and he fits right in as one of the main assets on the Bulls.
