The Bulls needed this win against the undermanned Raptors so they took it to them from the opening tap until the end of the game. The Bulls raced out to a 84-65 lead after three quarters before cruising to a easy win in the fourth. The Bulls shot 49.4% from the floor as a team tonight and they hit the boards outrebounding the Raptors 49-41. Derrick Rose was outstanding in this game for the Bulls as he led the way with 26 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. Joakim Noah was a beast tonight with 18 points, 19 rebounds and 7 assists as he displayed outstanding effort all night long. Luol Deng was also a bundle of hustle finishing with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists tonight. Taj Gibson (11 points), Flip Murray (10 points) and Hakim Warrick (10 points) also helped out offensively as the Bulls were pretty well balanced tonight. The Bulls are now 39-41 on the season as they have a 1 game lead on the Raptors with two games to play.

Chicago Bulls lose to Bucks, miss opportunity to gain ground on Raptors

The Toronto Raptors lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers yesterday, giving the Chicago Bulls an opportunity to gain a game on the Raptors and tie them for eighth place in the Eastern Conference. The Bulls, unfortunately, did not take advantage of this and they lost 79-74 to the Milwaukee Bucks.  After jumping out to a 27-14 lead after the first quarter, they followed it with a pathetic 9-point second quarter and 15-point third quarter.  They also let former Bull John Salmons drop 26 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists on them.  It was not a good night for the Bulls, but they will get another chance Thursday night against the Cavs and Friday at New Jersey before hosting the Raptors on Sunday.  Sunday’s game against the Raptors will be like a playoff game, since whoever wins that game will likely win the final spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The Bulls were leading this game 80-76 heading into the 4th quarter before the roof caved in on them. It doesn’t help your chances when you get outrebounded 46-31 and let the opposing team shoot 52.6% from the floor and that’s exactly what the Bulls did last night. Luol Deng led the way for the Bulls last night with 23 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Derrick Rose had a solid game also last night for the Bulls with 20 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Brad Miller pitched in with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists last night. The Bulls are now 31-30 on the year.

The Bulls were without Luol Deng last night but that is no excuse for how awful they played last night. The Bulls were outrebounded 63-37 in this game which really hurt but getting outscored 41-24 in the 4th quarter which really doomed them in the end. Derrick Rose led the way for the Bulls last night with 24 points and 3 assists. Brad Miller pitched in with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocked shots. Taj Gibson finished up with 11 points, 13 rebounds and 3 assists but the forwards of the Bulls were badly outplayed by the same unit of the Hawks. The Bulls are now 31-29 on the season.
