The Bulls shot 55.4% from the floor and they held the Cavs to 30.3% shooting from the floor last Friday in Cleveland which explains the final score.  Luol Deng (21 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots) and Carlos Boozer (19 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots) led the way for the Bulls in this game.  C.J. Watson also had a very solid game in a rare start as he finished up with 15 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals.  Kyle Korver (14 points, 1 rebound and 2 assists in 15 minutes on the floor) and Richard Hamilton (13 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists) also pitched in for the Bulls in this game.  The Bulls are now 14-3 on the year.

Chicago Bulls 118, Phoenix Suns 97

The Bulls shot 53.4% last Tuesday Night.  They made short work of the Suns as they were up 96-68 after the first three quarters.  Carlos Boozer led the way for the Bulls in this game with 31 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals.   C.J. Watson (23 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals), Luol Deng (15 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals) and Joakim Noah (13 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal) also pitched in with very solid games for the Bulls.  Richard Hamilton (11 points, 1 rebound, 6 assists and 1 steal) and Omer Asik (11 points, 4 rebounds and 1 blocked shot in only 13 minutes on the floor) also pitched in for the Bulls.  The Bulls are now 13-3 on the year.

Memphis Grizzlies 102, Chicago Bulls 86

The Bulls didn’t have Derrick Rose today (toe) and they looked really awful.  The Grizzlies shot 54% from the floor and they outrebounded the Bulls 46-34 which helps explain the beating they took today.  Luol Deng led the way for the Bulls today with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.  C.J. Watson (17 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists and 1 steal in 28 minutes) and Taj Gibson (16 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals and 3 blocked shots in 26 minutes) both had solid games off the bench today for the Bulls.  Carlos Boozer pitched in with 13 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal) today.  The Bulls are now 12-3 on the year.

The Bulls turned up the D tonight as they held the Raptors to a paltry 34.9% shooting from the floor.  Derrick Rose (18 points, 4 rebounds, 11 assists and 3 steals) and Carlos Boozer (17 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and  1 blocked shot) led the way for the  Bulls tonight.  Luol Deng (14 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot), Taj Gibson (11 points, 12 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot in 24 minutes) and John Lucas (10 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist in 20 minutes) also pitched in for the Bulls tonight.  The Bulls are now 12-2 on the year.

The Bulls outrebounded the Celtics 46-34 and they played well on defense which led to a nice road win last night.  Derrick Rose (25 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists) and Luol Deng (21 points, 16 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot) led the way for the Bulls in this game.  Carlos Boozer (12 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal), Ronnie Brewer (12 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals) and Joakim Noah (10 points, 12 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 blocked shots) also pitched in for the Bulls last night.  The Bulls are now a red hot 11-2 on the year.

Chicago Bulls 78, Washington Wizards 64

The Bulls outrebounded the Wizards 62-46 last night and they held them to 31% shooting from the floor, which were the big reasons for the win.  John Lucas started in place of an injured Derrick Rose and he led the way for the Bulls with 25 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 1 steal on 11 of 28 shooting from the floor.  Kyle Korver also had a solid game with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists last night.  Luol Deng only shot 5 of 21 from the floor last night but he still filled up the boxscore with 12 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocked shots.  The Bulls are now 10-2 on the year.

Jimmy Butler hasn’t gotten much P.T. yet for the Chicago Bulls

22-year old small forward Jimmy Butler has not played much for the Bulls so far this year.  But, the rookie has shown well so far when he does get the chance to play.  He has played in 5 games (0 starts) for the Bulls so far this year and he is averaging 4.4 minutes, 3.6 points and 1.2 rebounds per game so far this year.  Butler is buried on the bench right now, but it has to make the Bulls feel confident in him if he’s needed as he has looked good so far this year.

The Chicago Bulls sign Mike James

The Bulls have signed 36-year old point guard Mike James.  James last played in the NBA way back in 2009-10 with the Washington Wizards.  He has played in 528 games (263 starts) in his NBA career and he is averaging 25.2 minutes, 10.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.  The Bulls are hoping that James will be ready to play some in tonight’s game as Derrick Rose is hurting due to a case of turf toe.

The Bulls shot 53.1% from the floor and they outrebounded the T-Wolves 47-30, which explains how they beat the Timberwolves on the road last night.  Derrick Rose (31 points, 3 rebounds, 11 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shots) led the way for the Bulls last night.  Luol Deng (21 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 blocked shot) and Ronnie Brewer (17 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal) also had big games for the Bulls last night.  Kyle Korver pitched in with 13 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shots in 24 minutes also helped out big time off the bench for the Bulls last night.  The Bulls are now 9-2 on the year.

The Bulls held the Pistons to 39.4% shooting from the floor tonight and they held the Pistons to 9 points in the 4th quarter which helps explain the blowout win.  Carlos Boozer led the way for the Bulls tonight with 23 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 blocked shot.  Derrick Rose also had a good game with 22 points, 1 rebound and 8 assists in this game.  Ronnie Brewer pitched in with 12 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists in this game.  The Bulls are now 8-2 on the year.
