Chicago Bulls 97, Milwaukee Bucks 99
The Chicago Bulls (6-9) dropped their 5th straight game, losing to the Milwaukee Bucks (9-7) on the road Monday night. The Bulls played well enough to win this one, but they just did not get it done down the stretch. Bucks’ center Andrew Bogut really hurt the Bulls on both ends of the court. Bogut had 2 big blocks late in the game, and finished with 22 points, 15 rebounds, 4 blocks, 3 assists, and 3 steals. It was also Boguts’ first game back after missing the last 6 due to a leg injury. Boguts’ a good player, but the Bulls cannot let him fill up the stat sheet the way he did and impact the game so heavily on offense and defense. Derrick Rose led the Bulls with 23 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 blocks. The Bulls really need more games like this from Salmons, who has played pretty bad most of the season. Derrick Rose got the better of the talented rookie Brandon Jennings, as Rose had 19 points, 7 assists, and 2 rebounds while Jennings shot 5-15 from the field for 15 points, 8 assists, and 3 turnovers. The Bulls need to find a way to win close games and they really need to get themselves out of this losing streak.
