The Chicago Bulls release two players
The Bulls have released 29-year old forward Linton Johnson and 23-year old guard DeMarcus Nelson. Johnson played in 8 games (0 starts) for the Bulls last season and he averaged 5.3 minutes, 1.1 points, 1.0 rebound and 0.3 assists per game. Nelson played in 13 games (5 starts) for the Bulls last season and he averaged 13.2 minutes, 4.1 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game. It was a minor surprise that the Bulls let Nelson go as he showed some potential last season but they won’t miss Johnson.
