The Bulls are hitting their stride
The Bulls are starting to move up in the Eastern Conference as they are currently the #3 seed with a 26-19 record and they’re only 1 game behind the Washington Wizards for the top seed. The Bulls are 26-19 and only 1/2 a game behind the Pistons in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference. The Bulls are a jump shooting team for the most part so their offensive production is a little up and down. Ben Gordon has emerged as the leader on the offense as he’s averaging 21.6 points per game. He wants the ball in his hands at crunch time.  Luol Deng has been fantastic this season and he really has been a great finisher on the break. He’s averaging 17.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game this season and the Bulls need him to keep this pace up in the 2nd half. Andres Nocioni keeps shifting from the bench to starting, but his minutes have been consistent. He’s played very well at power forward as he’s averaging 15.4 points and 6.0 rebounds per game this season. Kirk Hinrich has been a solid contributor as he’s averaging 15.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game. The Bulls need him to keep that up in the second half. Ben Wallace has been the enforcer for the defense that the Bulls needed. He’s averaging 6.5 points, 10.1 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 2.1 blocks per game. The Bulls do need more from the bench as P.J. Brown, Chris Duhon, Malik Allen and Mike Sweetney to pick up their level of play in the second half.
