Blogged under Front Page by Nothing but Net on Tuesday 28 November 2006 at 3:58 am

The Bulls just didn’t play any defense on Friday night as the Sixers shot 53.8% from the floor. The Bulls also had no “answer” to Allen Iverson as he scored 46 points.

Luol Deng led the way for the Bulls as he scored 28 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished out 4 assists. Andres Nocioni was tough with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Kirk Hinrich (18 points, 6 assists) and Ben Gordon (22 points, 5 rebounds) each played well for the Bulls. Ben Wallace didn’t score or get a rebound in 20 minutes of play on Friday.

The Bulls fell to 3-9 on the season after this blowout loss.

The Bulls tried to beat the Nuggets at their own game Tuesday Night and came up just a tad short.

Kirk Hinrich led the way for the Bulls with 28 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists. Luol Deng had a solid game with 22 points and 5 rebounds. Ben Gordon had 13 points and 7 assists off the bench. Andres Nocioni had a good game with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Ben Wallace had a monster game with 11 points, 16 rebounds, 2 steals and 3 blocked shots. Chris Duhon chipped in with 10 points.

The Bulls have fallen to 3-8 on the season and have been a huge disappointment so far this season.

Bulls ice-cold in loss to Lakers 82-72

Blogged under Front Page by Nothing but Net on Wednesday 22 November 2006 at 1:06 pm

The Bulls shot only 33.8% from the floor on Sunday and were out-rebounded 51-42 by the Lakers, and that is a recipe for defeat!

Andres Nocioni was the only Bulls player that had a good offensive game with 30 points & 7 rebounds. Luol Deng had a solid game with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Ben Wallace had his usual game with 8 points, 12 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks.

The Bulls fell to 3-7 on the season with this defeat.

Bulls smashed by Spurs 100-83

Blogged under Front Page by Nothing but Net on Saturday 18 November 2006 at 2:32 am

The Bulls couldn’t get anything going on offense and they couldn’t stop the Spurs on defense as they hit 51.4% from the floor as a team.

Ben Gordon led the Bulls with 21 points off the bench. Luol Deng added 14 points. Kirk Hinrich scored 12 points and dished out 6 assists. Chris Duhon pitched in with 11 points and 4 assists. Ben Wallace had a good game with 6 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals and 4 blocked shots.

The Bulls have fallen to 3-6 on the season.

Bulls lose a tough one 101-100 to Rockets

Blogged under Front Page by Nothing but Net on Friday 17 November 2006 at 2:15 am

The Bulls were down 21 points at one point in the game but would not quit….and they almost won the game because of that effort. Ben Gordon was on fire, scoring 37 points and grabbing 6 rebounds. Luol Deng had a solid all-around game with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Andres Nocioni pitched in with 13 points. Kirk Hinrich had a decent game with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.Â

It’s hard to win when you get out-rebounded 48-35 like the Bulls did. But give them an A for effort, because they didn’t lay down. The Bulls have fallen to 3-5 on the season.

Luol Deng improving every game

Blogged under Front Page,Steppin Up by Nothing but Net on Thursday 16 November 2006 at 10:58 pm

Luol Deng has stepped up his scoring this season and it’s helping out the Bulls big-time. Deng is averaging 18.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.1 blocks per game so far. Deng is also hitting an outstanding 56.2% of his FGs. The Bulls need Deng to keep this up because Ben Gordon is so up-and-down.

Bulls forget to play defense and lose 111-99 to Mavs

Blogged under Front Page by Nothing but Net on Wednesday 15 November 2006 at 4:29 pm

The Bulls forgot to play defense and allowed the Mavericks to hit 50% of their shots last night. Kirk Hinrich played tough as he scored 25 points, grabbed 3 rebounds and dished out 6 assists. Luol Deng had a great game with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Ben Gordon came off of the bench as scored 18 points, but he only made 6 of 18 shots from the floor. Andres Nocioni got to start last night and scored 11 points & grabbed 5 rebounds.

If the Bulls want to be a title contender, they must play better defense and play with more effort every night….not just when they feel like it. The Bulls have dropped to 3-4 on the season.

Bulls have huge 4th quarter and prevail 89-80 over Indiana

Blogged under Front Page by Nothing but Net on Sunday 12 November 2006 at 10:34 am

The Bulls out-scored the Pacers 30-14 in the 4th quarter to pull out a huge victory over the Pacers. The Bulls only shot 38.3% from the floor for the game, but they out-rebounded the Pacers 51-28! Kirk Hinrich led the way with 23 points. Luol Deng had a solid game with 21 points, 12 rebounds and 3 steals. Ben Wallace was a monster in the paint with 8 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists. Andres Nocioni was solid off of the bench with 12 points & 6 rebounds.

The Bulls really needed this win and it was nice of the Pacers to let them have it. The Bulls are now 3-3 on the season.
